Hello Summer

Summer begins today! I am already enjoying the longer days and am looking forward to summer traditions. Two summer traditions I enjoy are entering my jewelry in the Member’s show and the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Fair.

This past Friday I attended the opening for the Members show at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. The opening was jam packed with artists of all mediums and of course I bonded with the jewelry artists and we made plans to get together again very soon. I also enjoyed the photography, sculpture, ceramics and paintings submitted by our very talented community of artists My jewelry will be on display until June 25th, so if you are in Summit NJ I highly recommend you check out the show.

My mother celebrated her 85th birthday earlier this month and we collaborated on a special piece of jewelry for the occasion. Mom picked out a Fordite cabochon from my collection and decided the way she would like it to hang, I surprised her with a diamond accent and her initials incorporated into the chain’s closure. She was very happy with the result and I enjoyed the process of co-designing her pendant. If you are interested in collaborating on a special gift for yourself or someone else, just let me know and we can set up an appointment to discuss.

I am replenishing some of my collections with new pieces. I’ve added a hand made squiggle chain to the Secure Attachment collection that can work as a necklace or bracelet. I have charms and pendants that can be added to the chain as well. I also have added some new pieces to the Essential collection that are perfect for summer. Shimmering moonstone, flashy labradorite and turquoise set in gold are excellent additions to your summer look or perfect for gifting. I will release these pieces on the first day of summer and hope you take a look!
