Elektra Necklace
The idea for this necklace came to me during a performance of Elektra that I recently saw at the Metropolitan Opera. I wanted to create jewelry that conveyed the shining and powerful character of Elektra. Using the same technique as the crinkled hoop earrings, I created a crinkled silver sheet oval pierced by wire with a black diamond sitting in the center. This open form hangs from an 18” 14K GF chain with lobster closure.
